Prometheus is Meta's 1 GW AI supercluster in New Albany, where Meta has operated data centers since 2017. Zuckerberg announced it in July 2025 for 2026. The site uses tent-style buildings, leased colocation space and traditional halls across a 740-acre tract. It will be powered partly by dedicated behind-the-meter natural gas plants approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board. Epoch AI's satellite-based tracker lists multiple buildings operating as of 2026, with more due through early 2027.
